Our Mission
Chatterley Vics FC is a community-based football club dedicated to promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and a love for football among its members. We provide quality and safe opportunities for young people of all ages to develop their personal skills and confidence through football. Our club aims to introduce people to football regardless of age, ability, sex, religion, or ethnic background, and we offer various sports activities and events for our members to develop their skills and passion for the sport. Additionally, we focus on improving the performance of players, coaches, and volunteers within the club.

founder & Club secretary:
Rich warburton
Originally from Tentham, Rich grew up in Stoke on Trent and had a passion for football from an early age. A member of the Port Vale football academy from the age of 8 he went on to play for a host of semi professional teams finally hanging up his boots in his late 30's
After this, Rich progressed in to coaching and managing football teams at local level and went on to establish and successfully run his own business outside the sport.

In 2019, Biddulph Predators was formed, and Rich had the opportunity to set up and start to grow the football club. Shell often jokes she has 14 extra surrogate sons and wouldn't give it up for the world.
Shell often helps Greg with the social events and her own committee role of the welfare officer for our youth teams keeps her busy along with her coaching duties.
Shell had experience with safeguarding vulnerable adults and children after working almost 20 years in the NHS, with all that experience it seemed a natural expansion to her role within the club for her to support the Head of Welfare, helping with the clubs vision and dedication to a safe, inclusive environment for all.

With a drive to ensure that he is giving the kids in his charge the best chance of development and success in their own version of the football world, Mike quickly pushed his own coaching education through the FA Introduction to Coaching Football into UEFA C Licence. He is also a part of the Staffordshire FA Coach Development Network.
Having coached in some capacity since the age of 15, through university and into the Sunday league structure, Mike brings a depth of coaching experience across multiple formats of the game, and multiple age groups, that will prove invaluable as his team, and the club, progress to open age 11 a side format.
Mike’s passion is ensuring that kids of Biddulph and surrounding areas have access to the beautiful game, with an appropriate level of coaching and development, with fun and development at the centre of it all.
